As'Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh,
Abu Usaid as saidi رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه said,
While we were with Allah’s messenger صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ,
A man of banu salima came to him and said Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, is there any kindness left that i can do to my parent after death?
He replied, yes you can invoke blessings on them, ask forgiveness for them, carry out their final instructions after their death, join ties of relationship which are dependent on them and honour their friend. Allahu Akbar!

The fact is that now a days relatives shows attitude towards money not the relation.
And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best.
Ya ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى)! Turner of the hearts! guider of the lost souls! Forgiver of the sins! Forgive the entire Muslim Ummah, Have mercy on our Parents, living or dead.
