Ibn `Umar said رضي الله عنهما said that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “If a man declares his brother to be a disbeliever, it will apply to one of them” [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree and Saheeh Muslim]

Ibn `Umar said رضي الله عنهما said that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Any man who says to his brother: ‘O Kaafir’, it will apply to one of them. Either it is as he said, otherwise it will come back to him (the one who said it).” [Saheeh Muslim]

Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه said that he heard the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم saying: “…Whoever calls a man (Muslim) a disbeliever (Kaafir) or says to him: ‘O enemy of Allaah!’, while he is not like that, it will rebound upon him.” [Saheeh Muslim]

Making Takfeer of someone is something serious and that is why it should be left for the people of knowledge to decide. But we have those keyboard warriors who will be the furthest away from the Sunnah, and will not be knowing the Conditions & Pillars of Tahaarah and Salaah, but one will find them making takfeer of the Muslim ruler as if its a child’s play.
