Delusions

Alcohol has become just another drink?

Gambling has become merely luck?

Music has become just an art?

Free-mixing of sexes has become an example of becoming civilized?

Women showing their beauty has become nothing more than a fashion statement?

Nudity has become an example of liberation?

Zina has become nothing more than a passing relationship?

Commanding the good has become extremism?

Forbidding the evil has become backwardness?

Iblīs was definitely straightforward with us ever since the beginning when he promised to lead us astray in the dunya and then abandon us in the ākhirah… but:

{ صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ }

“…deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.” [Al-Baqarah 2:171]

While we have a divine decree that is a way of life, that says what is halal and haram, why do we yet change our ways for the whims of the creations?
