Life of this World.Why can’t we ever have enough of this worthless nothing.Following Allah’s commands and quran is everything.Rest is cipher.

“Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment (for the disbelievers, evil-doers), and (there is) Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the believers, good-doers), whereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment“. [57:20]

“Yet [it does happen that] when people become aware of [an occasion for] worldly gain or a passing delight, they rush headlong towards it, and leave you (O Muhammad) standing [and preaching]“. [62:11]

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things)“. [102:1]

“Nay (behold), you prefer the life of this world; but the Hereafter is better and more enduring.” [Sûrah al-A`lâ: 16-17]

“And verily the Hereafter will be better for you than the present.” [Sûrah al-Dhuhâ: 4]

“But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.” [Sûrah al-Taubah: 38]

“But verily the reward of the Hereafter is the best for those who believe and are constant in righteousness” [Sûrah Yûsuf: 57]

“But truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater if they only realized.” [Sûrah al-Nahl:41]

Whosoever desires the life of the world and its glitter; to them We shall pay in full [the wages of] their deeds therein, and they will have no diminution therein. They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but Fire; and vain are the deeds they did therein. And of no effect is that which they used to do.

[Quran 11: 15-16]
