The golden period of Islam was motivated by the Quran and sunnah.Nothing else can bring it back.Without the above progress of muslims is not possible.It never happened without the Quran.
Its sad to see some muslims trying their heart and soul to revive the muslim ummah only through education (devoid of Quran) and financial assistance.At a small level maybe success can be achieved.But at the community or macro level,the impact will be minimal.
