Eid ul adha through the Quran (verses in English and Hindi)

From Surah 37

100 Lord, grant me a righteous son.’

101 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son.

102 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, ‘O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!’ He replied, ‘O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast.’

103 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 104 We called out to him, ‘Abraham, 105 you have fulfilled the dream.’ It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good—

106 that surely was a manifest trial—107 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 108 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 109 ‘Peace and salutation to Abraham!’

Quran 22:34

34 For every people We have appointed rites of sacrifice, so that they may pronounce the name of God over the cattle which He has provided for them. Your God is One God; surrender yourselves to Him; and give good news to the humble.

Lan yanala Allaha luhoomuha wala dimaoha walakin yanaluhu alttaqwa minkum kathalika sakhkharaha lakum litukabbiroo Allaha AAala ma hadakum wabashshiri almuhsineena

It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him. Thus have We made them subject to you that you may magnify Allah for His Guidance to you. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad SAW) to the Muhsinun (doers of good).

Quran 37:100-109

(100) ऐ मेरे पालनहार, मुझको सदाचारी सन्तान प्रदान कर। (101) तो हमने उसको एक सहनशील लड़के की शुभ सूचना दी।

(102) अतः जब वह उसके साथ चलने फिरने की आयु को पहुँचा, उसने कहा कि ऐ मेरे बेटे, मैं स्वप्न में देखता हूँ कि तुमको ज़बह (कुर्बान) कर रहा हूँ। अतः तुम सोच लो कि तुम्हारा क्या विचार है। उसने कहा कि ऐ मेरे पिता, आपको जो आदेश दिया जा रहा है आप उसको कर डालिये, यदि अल्लाह चाहेगा तो आप मुझको धैर्यवानों में से पायेंगे।

(103) अतः जब दोनों आज्ञाकारी हो गये और इब्राहीम ने उसको माथे के बल गिरा दिया। (104) और हमने उसको पुकारा, ऐ इब्राहीम! (105) तुमने स्वप्न को सच कर दिखाया। निस्सन्देह हम भलाई करने वालो को ऐसा ही बदला देते हैं। (106) निश्चय ही यह एक स्पष्ट परीक्षा थी। (107) और हमने एक बड़ी कुर्बानी के बदले उसको छुड़ा लिया। (108) और हमने उसपर पिछलो में एक समूह को छोड़ा। (109) सलामती हो इब्राहीम पर।

Quran 22:34

(34) और हमने प्रत्येक उम्मत (सम्प्रदाय) के लिए कुर्बानी करना अनिवार्य किया है ताकि वह उन पशुओं पर अल्लाह का नाम लें जो उसने उनको प्रदान किये हैं। अतः तुम्हारा उपास्य एक ही उपास्य हैं तो तुम उसी के होकर रहो। और विनम्रता करने वालों को शुभ सूचना दो।

: Quran 22:37

(37) और अल्लाह को न उनका माँस पहुँचता है और न उनका रक्त बल्कि अल्लाह को मात्र तुम्हारा तक्वा (अल्लाह के लिये निष्ठा) पहुँचता है इस प्रकार अल्लाह ने उनको तुम्हारे लिए वश में कर दिया है, ताकि तुम अल्लाह के प्रदान किये हुए मार्गदर्शन पर उसकी बड़ाई करो और भलाई करने वालों को शुभ सूचना दे दो।
