“While I was sleeping, [I saw a dream in which] I was given a cup of milk. I drank from it…and then I gave what remained [in the cup] to ‘Umar (May Allah be pleased with him). ”The Companions asked, “And how do you interpret this dream, O Messenger of Allah?”
The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “[I interpret the milk in the cup to mean] knowledge.” Al-Bukhaari (3681)
