I am what the Qur'an asked me to be... A Muslim!

Muhammad Husain Abdullah originally shared: I am what the Qur’an asked me to be… A Muslim!

"And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah . He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper." ( Q.S Al-Ĥaj 78)

"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." (Q.S Fuşşilat 33)

"Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]." (Q.S ‘Āli `Imrān 64) View full size (720x517) http://dlvr.it/5cHQld
