The importance of Noah's(Nuh as) Ark #Allah #islam #muslim #ProphetMuhammadpbuh

This post is an attempt to throw some light upon Prophet Nuh(Noah) (as) and the Ark Allah subhanahuwatala blessed him with. Before I touch upon the topic of the discovery of the Ark (in our age)and the evidences and criticism of the evidences,it is absolutely imperative that we understand the following issues concerning the Ark.As Muslims,it is extremely important to study the Quran and build your research in its light. For Islamic dawah we always start from the Quran(coz it shows us the way through the darkest of hours...it is the only light in this world devoid of any light).

Some important points to understand:

1)The Ark as a SIGN OF ALLAH(SWT).

2)Who benefits from the discovery of the Ark and who doesn't ?

3)Is their a sinister plot/conspiracy to hide the truth from mankind. What message will the discovery convey. Will it be an existential threat for certain ideologies(Atheism,Agnosticism which is growing at a very fast rate.... Just Google this and look at some of the results
http://www.google.com/m?hl=en-US&ie=UTF-8&q=growth+rate+of+atheism)

4)There will always be a group of people/organizations who will oppose/resist the truth(Quran,Bible-Old testament) and scientific explorations discovering the lost cities and remnants of the inhabitants of The People of Noah(as),Ad,Thamud etc...But why? The answer is simple - coz it will establish the authenticity of the divine verses of the Holy Books. And this will be detrimental and disastrous for their CAUSE...

5)Their cause is synonymous with the cause of SATAN coz they worship Satan and have taken him as their helper(as the verses of the Quran expose their plot and allies).Do we have any such groups today....Yes...The Illuminati,Freemasons,Zionists,Darwinists are all allies in this cause...And are extremely powerful in terms of the position they command. Those who want evidence for this..It can be provided..But that is a separate issue (200 videos on Youtube based on Research inspired by the Quran). Here is a simple post that will throw some light on this point ( http://islamicintrospection.blogspot.in/2013/10/symbol-of-satanshaitan-obelisk-see_12.html)

Plz analyze the verses to understand the Significance/Sign/⚠ warning/Guidance it brings for Mankind. The plot/conspiracy against the Prophet Noah(as) and the Ark hatched by disbelievers.

While some might argue that the Earth was cleansed of transgressors(disbelievers) after the Great Flood, therefore concerns/fear today about a plot or conspiracy against the Ark is unfounded...Answer: Let us remember that the chief Plotter or Misleader remains and will remain till the day of Qiyamah.(being driven by vengeance towards Mankind...Satan continues to prowl, deceive and hunt those weak in Iman)

                     Quranic Verses

          📕 - Quranic verses
           📖 - commentary/explanation

📕Soon will We show them Our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth.(Quran 41:53)

📖Allah's Truth always spreads, in its own good time, across to the uttermost ends of the earth, as it did in the case of Islam. But its intensive spread in the hearts and souls of people is even more remarkable than its extensive spread over large areas.

📖Men like the four Companions of the Prophet-and many more-became leaders of men and arbiters of the world's fate.

📖Madinah from being a focus of jarring tribes and factions that hated each other, became the seat of heroic actions and plans and the nursery of great and noble heroic deeds that resounded throughout the world.

📖It makes no difference what men may say or do. Allah's Truth must prevail, and He knows who obstruct and who help.

📕We sent Nuh to his people and he said, 'My people, worship Allah! You have no other god than Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day.' The ruling circle of his people said, 'We see you in flagrant error.' He said, 'My people, I am not in error at all but rather am a Messenger from the Lord of all the worlds, transmitting my Lord's Message to you and giving you good counsel, and I know from Allah what you do not know. Or are you astonished that a reminder should come to you from your Lord by way of a man among you, to warn you and make you guard against evil so that hopefully you will gain mercy?' But they denied him so We rescued him and those with him in the Ark. And We drowned the people who denied Our Signs. They were a blind people. (7:59-64)

📕Has the news of those who came before them not reached them, the people of Nuh and 'Ad and Thamud, and the people of Ibrahim and the inhabitants of Madyan and the overturned cities? Their Messengers brought them the Clear Signs. Allah did not wrong them; rather they wronged themselves. (9:70)

📕Recite to them the story of Nuh when he said to his people, 'My people, if my standing here and reminding you of Allah's Signs has become too much for you to bear, know that I have put my trust in Allah. So decide, you and your gods, on what you want to do and be open about it. Do with me whatever you decide and do not keep me waiting. If you turn your backs, I have not asked you for any wage. My wage is the responsibility of Allah alone. I am commanded to be one of the Muslims.' But they denied him so We rescued him, and all those with him, in the Ark and We made them the successors and We drowned the people who denied Our Signs. See the final fate of those who were warned! (10:71-73)

📕We sent Nuh to his people: 'I am a clear warner to you. Worship none but Allah. I fear for you the
punishment of a painful day.' The ruling circle of those of his people who disbelieved said, 'We do not see
you as anything but a human being like ourselves. We do not see anyone following you but the lowest of us,
unthinkingly. We do not see you as superior to us. On the contrary, we consider you to be liars.' He said, 'My
people! What do you think? If I were to have clear evidence from my Lord and He had given me a mercy
direct from Him, but you were blind to it, could we force it on you if you were unwilling? My people! I do
not ask you for any wealth for it. My wage is the responsibility of Allah alone. I will not chase away those
who believe. They are surely going to meet their Lord. However, I see you as ignorant people. My people!
Who would help me against Allah if I did drive them away? So will you not pay heed? I do not say to you
that I possess the treasuries of Allah; nor do I know the Unseen; nor do I say that I am an angel; nor do I say
to those who are vile in your eyes that Allah will not give them any good. Allah knows best what is in their
hearts. If I did, I would certainly be one of the wrongdoers.' They said, 'Nuh, you have argued with us and
argued much so bring us what you have promised us if you are telling the truth.' He said, 'Allah will bring it
to you if He wills and you will not be able to prevent it. My counsel will not benefit you, for all my desire to
counsel you, if Allah desires to lead you into error. He is your Lord and you will return to Him.' Or do they
say, 'He has invented it'? Say: 'If I have invented it the crime will be laid at my door, but I am innocent of
the crimes which you commit.' It was revealed to Nuh: 'None of your people are going to believe except for
those who already believe, so do not be distressed at what they do. Build the Ark under Our supervision and
as We reveal and do not address Me concerning the wrongdoers. They shall be drowned.' He began to build
the Ark and every time some nobles of his people passed him by, they ridiculed him. He said, 'Though you
ridicule us now, we will certainly ridicule you as you do us. You will soon know who will receive a
punishment which disgraces him and find unleashed against himself an everlasting punishment.' So when
Our command came, and water bubbled up from the earth, We said, 'Load into it a pair of every species, and
your family–except for those against whom the Word was preordained–and all who believe.' But those who
believed with him were only few. He said, 'Embark in it. In the name of Allah be its voyage and its landing!
Truly my Lord is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.' It sailed with them through mountainous waves, and Nuh
called out to his son, who had kept himself apart, 'My son! Come on board with us. Do not stay with the
disbelievers!' He said, 'I will take refuge on a mountain; It will protect me from the flood.' He said, 'There is no protection from Allah's command today except for those He has mercy on.' The waves surged in between
them and he was among the drowned. It was said, 'Earth, swallow up your water!' and, 'Heaven, hold back
your rain!' And the water subsided and the affair was concluded and the Ark came to land on al-Judi. And it
was said, 'Away with the people of the wrongdoers!' Nuh called out to his Lord and said, 'My Lord, my son
is one of my family and Your promise is surely the truth and You are the Justest of Judges.' He said, 'Nuh, he
is definitely not of your family. He is someone whose action was not righteous. Do not, therefore, ask Me for
something about which you have no knowledge. I admonish you lest you should be among the ignorant.' He
said, 'My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You for anything about which I have no knowledge. If
You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the lost.' It was said, 'Nuh, descend with
peace from Us and with blessings on you and on the nations which will issue from those who are with you.
But there are nations to whom we will give enjoyment and then a painful punishment from Us will afflict
them.' That is some of the news of the Unseen which We reveal to you. Neither you nor your people knew it
before this time. So be steadfast. The best end result is for those who guard against evil. (11:25-49)

(Quran 14:9)
📕 Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? --of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? --

...وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللّهُ...

and of those who (came) after them?

None knows them but Allah.

📖C1882. Even the names of all the Prophets are not known to men, much less the details of their story. If some "news" of them (for the word translated "story" may also be translated "news") reaches us, it is to give us spiritual instruction for our own lives.

...جَاءتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ...

📕To them came Messengers with Clear (Signs); but they put their hands up to their mouths,

📖C1883. That is, either that the Unbelievers metaphorically put their hands up to the mouths of the Prophets to try to prevent them from proclaiming their Message, or
that the Unbelievers put up their fingers to their own mouths, as much as to say "Don't listen to them," or bite their own fingers in token of incontinent rage.

Whatever construction we adopt, the meaning is that they were intolerant of their prophets even as the Quraish were intolerant of Al Mustafa and did all they could to suppress Allah's Truth.

...وَقَالُواْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ...

and said:

📕"We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent,

...وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ ﴿٩﴾

and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us."

📖C1884. Cf. 11:62.

The distinction between Shakk and raib may be noted.

Shakk is intellectual doubt, a doubt as to fact; is it so, or is it not?

Raib is something more than intellectual doubt; a suspicion that there is fraud or deception; something that upsets your moral belief and causes a disquiet in your soul.

In 52:30, it is used as equivalent to "calamity" or "disaster", some punishment or evil. Both kinds of doubts and suspicions are hinted at against Prophets of Allah.

📕'How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? and enough is thy Lord to note and see the sins of His servants.' Al-Quran (17:17)

📕'Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.' Al-Quran (19:58)

📕'We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to Evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together.' Al-Quran (21:77)

📕'If they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the peoples before them (with their prophets),- the People of Noah, and 'Ad and Thamud;' Al-Quran (22:42)

📕'He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me.' Al-Quran (26:117)

📕'Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind.' Al-Quran (26:120)

📕'Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.' Al-Quran (26:121)

📕'But We saved him and the companions of the Ark, and We made the (Ark) a Sign for all peoples!' Al-Quran (29:15)

📕'But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital!' Al-Quran (40:5)

📕'The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).' Al-Quran (42:13)

📕'But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre:' Al-Quran (54:13)

📕'Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss.' Al-Quran (71:21)

📕'"And they have devised a tremendous Plot.' Al-Quran (71:22)

📕'"And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';-' Al-Quran (71:23)

📖From prehistoric times man has sought to worship powers of nature, or symbols representing those symbols. In vulgar minds they become debased superstitions, and seem to come into competition with the worship of the the one True God.The five names mentioned in 71:23 represent some of the oldest Pagan cults, before the Flood as well as after the Flood, though the names themselves are in the form in which they were worshiped by local Arab tribes. The names of the tribes have been preserved to us by the Commentators, but thy are of no more than archeological interest to us now. But the names of the false gods are interesting to us from the point of view of comparative religion, as, under one form or another, such cults still exist in countries which have not accepted the Gospel of Unity, as they have always existed since man turned from his Maker and Sustainer to the worship of created things or invented fancies. The names of the five false gods and the symbols under which they were represented were as follow:

Nos.  Pagan god.    Shape.   Quality     Represented

1.

Wadd

Man

Manly Power

2.

Suwa

Woman

Mutability, Beauty

3.

Yaghuth

Lion or Bull

Brute Strength

4.

Yauq

Horse

Swiftness

5.

Nasr

Eagle, or Vulture,

or Falcon

Sharp Sight, Insight

Can you recall some symbols or flags of countries/associations/organizations where these symbols can be found.

📕'And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth!' Al-Quran (71:26)

📕'"For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones.' Al-Quran (71:27)
